Clear answers about Loops, participation and your account.

What is a Loop?

A Loop is an invitation with a prompt, a participation format and an ending. People contribute, then the Loop closes into a shared result. A vote, recommendation, short answer or collected story can each become a Loop.

What does Mutual mean?

When you visit another member’s Followers or Following page, Mutual shows people you both follow. For example, if you and that member both follow Carolina, Carolina appears in the Mutual list; she does not need to follow either of you back. It compares two different accounts, so it is not shown on your own profile. Private-profile access, hidden connection lists, blocks and account availability still apply. Pending requests do not count as follows.

What counts as participation?

Your first accepted response records your participation in that Loop. Reading, liking, following or saving does not. A vote counts as a contribution. New voting Loops allow one vote per account, even when repeated text contributions are available in other formats. If multiple contributions are allowed, several responses still count as one person toward the completion goal. The creator's entries do not count toward that goal or occupy participant seats on new Loops.

How are Created, Participated and Completed different?

Created counts Loops you started. Participated counts distinct Loops you joined that were created by someone else. Completed counts successful Loops you created or made an eligible contribution to, once per Loop. A successful Loop met its published completion requirement and saved a shared result. Private and deleted Loops follow the profile's visibility rules. Closed only means submissions have ended; a closed Loop may not have met its goal.

On a Loop, participants means distinct eligible contributors other than its creator. Contributions (or votes on a poll) includes all eligible entries, including your own and the creator's. These totals are the same across accounts. A creator's vote can appear in the result but never helps meet the completion goal.

How do deadlines and scheduled starts work?

You can open now or schedule a start. Timed Loops can be as short as 15 minutes; their duration runs from opening, not from when you schedule them. All absolute dates, scheduling inputs and deadlines are shown in UTC. Relative countdowns show time remaining. A full participant limit also closes the Loop. New Loops can remain open for at most 30 days from opening, including scheduled Loops. Manual close lets the creator end participation earlier, with automatic closure after 30 days or when seats fill. Existing published deadlines remain unchanged. Submissions after the deadline are rejected even if the background closure job has not run yet.

Can everyone see my Loop?

Public Loops can appear in discovery and search. Unlisted Loops are omitted from discovery, search and other people’s profile lists and are available to anyone who has the link and profile access; an unlisted link is not a private invitation. Private currently means only the creator can access it. A private profile requires approved followers to view its Loops and activity, including through direct links. A private Loop remains creator-only even for approved followers. Profile-field privacy hides details from other people; you always see your own fields. Hiding your username removes the handle from your profile display, but links, search and mentions still use it, so it does not make your account anonymous. Your identity remains discoverable so others can request to follow. Existing followers keep access when you switch to private; remove any follower from your followers list to revoke that access. Published public contributions can be copied or shared by other people.

Can I invite my followers?

Open your active or scheduled public or unlisted Loop and choose Invite followers. Search and select up to 50 followers per send. Invitations arrive in-app; a scheduled invitation shows the opening time in UTC without revealing the prompt. Receiving an invitation never records participation or awards points. Private Loops remain creator-only and cannot be invited to.

You can block all invitations in Notification settings, or use Block invitations on a creator’s profile and Allow invitations to reverse it. This does not unfollow or block the account. Account blocks and private-profile access still apply. One invitation per follower per Loop is allowed, with a maximum of three invitations from one creator and ten in total per recipient over 24 hours. Creators may send up to 500 invitations per UTC day. Deleted notifications do not reset these limits. Some selections can be unavailable without exposing a follower’s private preferences.

How does Load more work?

Load more adds up to twelve older matching Loops without replacing the Loops already shown. Continue when you want to, until the end message appears. Changing filters starts a fresh list. Live refreshes recheck loaded cards for privacy, blocks and availability. The Ending soon, Trending and Recent shelves remain short selections above the main list.

When can I see other responses?

The creator chooses whether responses reveal after participation or only at closure. The creator can review their Loop. Poll results and shared results follow the applicable reveal rules. This is not a promise of anonymous voting: the service stores which account submitted each vote.

Can I edit or delete?

Titles, prompts and descriptions have a five-minute edit window while open. A creator can delete a new Loop only within that window and before it has participants or contributions. Authors can edit a response during its five-minute window while the Loop is open, and remove it while open. Completion goals and timing are locked at publication. For privacy or safety concerns after closure, report the content or contact support.

Are messages end-to-end encrypted?

No. Messages are processed and stored as readable application text by the service. HTTPS protects transport, but the platform can technically access message content. Never send passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or sensitive personal information through messages. In Privacy settings, choose Everyone, People you follow, or No new messages. New accounts start with People you follow; starting a conversation also permits that person to reply. No new messages stops incoming replies too, while keeping your history available. Account blocks always apply; use a member's profile to report abuse.

Is Loop free?

Yes. The lasting Free baseline is 100 Loop creations per calendar month and 10 queued scheduled Loops at a time. Participation has no membership fee. This is not a temporary launch trial. Paid plans are marked Coming soon and cannot be purchased until deliberately released. Safety and anti-spam limits apply to every plan.

Who can join?

You must be at least 16 and meet any higher minimum required where you live. If you are not legally able to accept these terms yourself, obtain parent or guardian permission where required. Registration uses your declaration rather than collecting a full birth date; it is not identity or age verification.

How do I get help or raise a privacy request?

Use the report button on a Loop, contribution or member profile for abuse. Account and visibility settings are available in Settings. Contact info-loop@vibeandcraft.com for account access, a moderation appeal or privacy requests; identify the account or relevant link without emailing your password. This inbox is not an emergency service.
